Founded in 2010 by investors and entrepreneurs, Bbooster Ventures founded the first Spanish accelerator in driving new ideas that base their business models on Internet and mobile applications. It currently has two venture capital firms, which invest in startups in different stages:
Sinensis is the only Venture Fund regulated in southern Europe with an acceleration program. Since its commencement, it has helped launch more than 60 new projects that have generated more than 250 jobs. Some of the companies, who began their program with just a proof of concept, now have a volume of millions of euros as Traventia.com, Tallerator.com, Hooptap or Cronoshare.com, as a result of the #1 Accelerator in Spain.
Sinensis each year, through the BBooster's acceleration program, supports between 14 and 18 new technology projects to jump into the market in four months as viable companies, constituted as corporations and financed. Reinvesting up to €200,000 in later stages.
Dyrecto-sinensis invests up to €400,000 in companies that are in later stages. Through a week contest called Bbooster Week, Internet startups, with an accumulated turnover of around €100,000 in the last 6-12 months, areselected to be invested in across several different rounds. Four Bbooster Weeks are held annually, to invest in an average of 6 startups.
