Course: I have a PhD! What comes next?

(From 9.30pm to 11.30pm)

Every time we finish a stage, it is a moment of change that can cause fear, anxiety, uncertainty and excitement, among other feelings. The key is how do we manage everything that happens to us? How can we identify and control the next steps?

In this course we will work on:

✔ To assist in change management in light of this moment of uncertainty.

✔ To appreciate and highlight our skills.

✔ To develop self-confidence and empower PhD students that are in this moment of change by recognizing their own resources but also their added value.

✔ To invite to look to the future with joy.

This session will be taught in english by Alba Gómez, graduated in Labour Relations and in Business Management, Master’s in Human Resources.

Part II

Session: PhD Prospects: some professional or academic experiences

(From 11.40pm to 13.30pm)

Although getting an academic job is a natural step for many PhD graduates, a greater number of opportunities exist outside of the teaching and education sector.

In this session you will heard the storytelling of some PhD graduates (Alumni) both about their professional and academic field experiences.
