About the speaker:

Lucía Egea, Vice Dean of IE Business School, brings international C-level experience across EdTech, Finance, Business Development, Strategy, and Startups. Her professional background spans Latin America, Europe, and the US, with roles in FMCG, Pharma, Telecom, Manufacturing, Consulting, and Education—giving her a truly holistic perspective on business.

An intuitive thinker, Lucía thrives on solving complex problems through analysis and creativity, driving positive disruption with an open and collaborative mindset. She combines financial expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit, turning new business opportunities into sustainable strategies.

In addition to her role at IE, she serves as an advisory board member, business partner, and educator, contributing to initiatives in sustainable corporate development, international challenges, and sustainability projects. She is also Professor and Orchestrator at Headspring Executive Development, a joint venture of IE Business School and the Financial Times.

Lucía holds double degrees in Business Studies from Spain and the UK (both cum laude) and ranked #1 in her Executive MBA at IE Business School. A lifelong learner, she continues to explore areas such as futures design, human-centered approaches, and digitalization.
