• What’s the plan?

During 90 minutes we will go on a guided tour around this beautiful banana plantation. Apart from learning about the essence of the banana cultivation, production and marketing, we will have some time to get to know each other and network.

At the end we will take a break at El Cuartito where there will be a gofio workshop and we will be able to taste some banana and gofio products.

The tour includes:

– The Coast of Las Galletas: Nature and Volcanic Territory.

– History of the Banana in the Canary Islands : how and when it arrives in the South of Tenerife ?

– The cultivation and production of banana : agricultural work, exhibition of work tools, production and marketing.

- Gofio workshop with the necessary tools to toast and grind the grain.

– Tasting of Banana and Gofio products.

• Where will it be?

The event will take place at Finca Las Margaritas, in the South of Tenerife.

The easiest way to get there is with a car. If you're looking for a ride, let us know and maybe we can find somebody to give you a lift.

• Who will be there?

A maximum of 24 remote workers can sign up for this event. We will make sure we follow all the current Covid regulations.

• How much?

Please keep in mind that Tenerife Work & Play is covering 40% of the price of this activity, therefore the final price is 5€ per person.
