We are pleased to invite you to join a blockchain industry roundtable being hosted by RMIT Europe and the Australian Consulate-General Frankfurt with experts from the EU, industry and research institutions.

Taking place in Frankfurt on Wednesday 3 July at the Australian Consulate-General, the event will showcase implementation of blockchain in large corporations and foster discussion on its risks and opportunities as well as the skill sets needed in organisations to leverage this revolutionary technology.

Presentations will be delivered by RMIT University's Professor Jason Potts, the academic behind the world's first research centre on the social science of blockchain, as well as experts in Europe including:

  • Mr Dieter Sellner, Senior Project Manager and Key Blockchain Expert, DB Schenker
  • Mr Manuel Machado, Global Head of Blockchain Solutions, Worldline Global , & Member of the EU Blockchain Observatory & Forum
  • Ms Alexandra Rimpu, Assistant Vice President, Program Manager DLT / Blockchain Lab, Commerzbank AG
  • Professor Dr Philipp Sandner, Head of the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center , Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

The presentations will be followed by an open discussion and questions from participants.
