About this event

Social entrepreneurs are emerging as powerful agents of change in the global effort to create a more just and sustainable world. Despite decades of initiatives to fight poverty, over 4 billion people still lack access to basic resources and services such as clean water, healthcare, and quality education. As long as these essentials remain out of reach for so many, inequality and injustice will persist.   This session will focus on how social entrepreneurs are addressing the needs of people at the base of the economic pyramid, communities often underserved and overlooked by traditional markets and systems. Through innovative and inclusive solutions, these changemakers are advancing key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including ending poverty and hunger, expanding access to education, clean water and sanitation, and promoting affordable and clean energy.   Join us as we explore how purpose-driven entrepreneurship is reshaping development from the ground up and helping build a better future for all.   When: Thursday, 25th September   Venue: Gonville Hotel, Gonville Place, Cambridge CB1 1LY England    Agenda:   18:50 - 19:00 Registration     19:00 - 19:05 Welcome by IE University    19:05 - 20:15 Masterclass   20:15 - 21:00 Networking cocktail        About the Speaker:   Waya Quiviger has 20 years of experience in international higher education.
