Description
Chicago Northside Mini Maker Faire is the first and largest officially licensed Maker Faire in the Chicagoland area. We are a local, grassroots celebration of the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) spirit in Chicago, focusing on education across all ages and social groups. Our makers represent a mix of beginners and experts, hobbyists and professionals, groups and individuals, and all ages, backgrounds, and interests. With a shoestring budget and only a dream, our inaugural Mini Maker Faire in April, 2012 was a smashing success thanks to the 50+ makers who shared their talents in 3D printing, robotics, jewelry making, and urban farming, just to name a few. Now with close to 100 makers, we're still growing. Come experience it for yourself!

Attendance is Free! Why sign up for a ticket?
Registering online in advance will get you through the door faster. On Saturday, May 5th, just show us your ticket, get stamped, and start making!
Signing up for a ticket will also help us to gauge how many people will be coming and will help us plan our exhibits and interactive displays so that we will have enough materials for everyone to take part and enjoy.
In exchange for signing up, you'll be entered into a random drawing with a chance at winning one of several door prizes made by our members or donated by our sponsors.
