About Fitch:
Fitch Ratings has been around since 1913 and is one of the big three credit rating agencies in the world. With a global team of about 5,000 people—over 1,600 of them analysts—Fitch focuses on providing clear, forward-looking credit insights for everything from companies and governments to complex financial products. They also share tools like the Ratings Navigator and sovereign rating models to help people better understand things like credit risk, ESG factors, and the chances of default.
About the speakers:
Ines Callahan (She)
Ines is a senior director in Fitch Ratings’ International Public Finance Group and team lead for the UK and Netherlands public sector credits. These cover various sectors including Social Housing, Higher Education, Healthcare, Public Transport, Local Authorities and charities.
Julia Carner (She)
Julia is an Associate Director at Fitch Ratings. She has been in the company for 13 years, working in the International public Finance Group as a country expert in Spain, maintaining international ratings for a portfolio of local and regional government, and government related entities.
Yvette Gombau (She)
Yvette is a Director in the Leveraged Finance team, focused on High-Yield, Leveraged Loans and Private Debt financing. She joined Fitch Ratings in London eight years ago. Previously she worked nine years in the Leveraged Finance at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (MUFG) in London, bringing leveraged credit experience both from an origination and a portfolio management. She holds a Master’s Degree from ESADE Business School and a MSc Degree of Business Administration from the Jaume I University.

This meeting is for anyone from all backgrounds who is learning to code or working in tech. You may be a boot camp student or learning by yourself, a graduate looking to apply for a job in tech, or already a professional developer. The event will be in English!
