As part of a tour to Australia and New Zealand, five leading Spanish producers have been selected by the government of Murcia to represent the region and to showcase their products.

Ana Cortes, chef and president of Eat Spanish, in collaboration with the team at Balcón by Tapavino, has developed a special tapa menu incorporating these products that highlights the distinctive Mediterranean cuisine of Murcia – a region bathed in year-round sunshine and renowned for the quality and diversity if it´s food and wine.

The tasting will showcase specialties from the following companies:

• Aliminter: sauces, olive oil, green and black olives and gourmet preserves.

• Aromais: Spanish ham produced with traditional care and modern technology.

• Bodegas Luzon: high quality wines, pioneers of the Monastrell (mourvedre) variety.

• Caprichos del Paladar: the best vegetable preserves.

• Iberica Spirit: a reinvention of the potato chip.

Balcón by Tapavino https://www.balcontapavino.com.au carries over 500 wines from Spain and has redefined Sydneyider´s perceptions of Spanish food.
