Creative Painting and Collage: Make Your Heart is designed to nurture your creativity, spark fresh ideas, and help you see the world — and your own work — in new ways. Guided by British-born multidisciplinary artist Graham G. Maiden, each session invites you to explore playful mark-making, imaginative landscapes, memory-inspired compositions, and even small papier-mâché sculptures.

This is not about “painting perfectly” — it’s about discovering your own visual language, learning to trust your instincts, and finding joy in the process. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning to art after years away, you’ll find inspiration, encouragement, and plenty of creative surprises.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Graham G. Maiden is a British-born multidisciplinary artist whose world of imagery flows effortlessly between sculpture, painting, and textile art. With over three decades of experience in the international film and television industry, Graham has brought characters and worlds to life for productions such as James and the Giant Peach, Mars Attacks!, Chicken Run, The Corpse Bride, and The Sandman. His career has taken him to creative hubs including London, Bristol, San Francisco, Hollywood, and Berlin, where he worked alongside some of the most innovative minds in visual storytelling.

Today, based in Altea, Graham channels this wealth of experience into artworks that are at once whimsical, symbolic, and deeply human. His elongated figures, dreamlike compositions, and theatrical gestures evoke a world of archetypes and half-remembered myths, while his sculptures often feel caught in mid-transformation — frozen in a moment between motion and stillness. Whether in clay, paint, or thread, Graham’s creations speak a visual language that is instantly recognizable: playful yet profound, detailed yet full of breath and space.

In the Creative Painting and Collage: Make Your Heart sessions, Graham shares not just techniques, but the way he sees — encouraging students to look deeper, notice the unexpected, and turn spontaneous marks into entire worlds of their own.
