About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

I’m hoping to host one creative session every two weeks, depending on interest. Each session is offered with a suggested minimum donation of €5.

This session is designed as a creative exploration through movement, mark-making, and storytelling. We begin by letting go of preconceptions, loosening both body and mind through guided visualization and spontaneous movement. From this embodied experience, we create abstract lines and respond to them with drawing prompts. Finally, we bring it all together by developing a short personal story inspired by the images we've made.

You're invited to explore your creativity in a safe, playful, and non-judgmental space, no prior art experience is needed.Whether you're curious about creative expression or looking for a new way to reconnect with yourself, you're very welcome to join.Materials:

  • 5 sheets and writing tools (pen, markers)
  • Optional: coloured pencils, glue, scissors, magazines/newspapers

Frequently asked questions

Can I join without any art experience?

Yes, absolutely! I especially encourage people with no art experience to join. They're like a blank canvas, often more open and curious, and less likely to judge their own work. That said, those with an art background are also very welcome and often enjoy the chance to loosen up and explore freely.

Who is Alicia?

Alicia is a registered Art Therapist with IACAT, based in North Dublin. After working as an art educator, I developed a strong interest in human psychology, which led me to further my studies in Art Therapy in Grefart (Spain). You can contact her through IG @timeforarttherapy.alicia

Is the ticket refundable?
