In this Campus Experts Summit session, we will learn from Lucero Tagle, Organizational Development Consultant at Google, who will talk about the impact of technology in the companies, how to retain talent and help your employees to grow, and how a company as Google faces those challenges from its People Ops department.

Culture and people practices are the number one thing to get right to ensure the development of your employees. Due to technology, the way we work is shifting, so the way in which employees work is also changing. In this talk Lucero will go through the different things she's learned along the way working in People Operations at Google, and will show some of the key factors that helps to deal with those challenge, as diversity, employee development, use of technology, etc.

About the speaker

Lucero has been with Google for almost 12 years leading their talent management efforts across EMEA and is currently focused on supporting EMEA leaders and their teams across Sales, Tech and General & Admin be the best they can be. Her career at Google has spanned the course of recruitment for both sales and tech, career development, coaching, leadership development, and talent growth & retention both on an EMEA and global level. Prior to Google, Lucero worked in the organisational development space for the banking, public and agriculture sectors.

Lucero has a Masters Degree in Business Psychology from City University, London, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and French from University of San Diego, has an Executive Coaching Certification from Ashridge Business School, UK and is certified to deliver several psychometric assessment tools.

Lucero is originally from Mexico but lived in San Diego, CA most of her life. She has been living in London for 14 years. Her hobbies include running (marathons, 10ks), fitness, yoga, coaching, movies, traveling and enjoying life with her family which includes 3 busy kiddos.

About the Campus Experts Summit

From November 20-31, the Campus Madrid team welcome 11 googlers from different countries and Google offices as part of the fourth Campus Experts Summit Program in Spain, this time hosting Google, after the visits of Buffer, Sendgrid and Google in the first edition.

With mission to bring their expertise to the local startup community, this passionate and accomplished group will work directly with startups to solve some of their biggest challenges, lead workshops for the community, host mentoring hours, give tech talks, and share their knowledge on everything from app campaigns optimization to prepare your startup for the exit. A great opportunity also for some of our rockstar Googlers to learn more about the startup ecosystem and the amazing entrepreneurs in Madrid.
