Hello data-drunks!

As Madrid sees autumn slowly kicking in, we received a proposal from our friends over at BBVA to jointly host a Databeers Branded Event as the finishing-party of their Open Summit to take place this Thursday, October 19th at Matadero Madrid. And we could only say oh yeah!

So this means you get to have another fun-filled Databeers event in-between the "regular" track (you can expect us to deliver another "official" Databeers sometime in early December, stay tuned for that one). Oh, joy! This time the talks will try to revolve around the general theme "humans, machines and trust".

Doors will open at 18:30 (take note! that's 30 minutes earlier than other Madrid Databeers events), and it will take place at Central de Diseño, Centro Cultural Matadero, Paseo de la Chopera, 14, 28045 Madrid. And our friends at BBVA are to take credit for this edition, thanks to them!

You must register for the event unless you are already attending the previous BBVA conference (in which case you can just stay there and wait for Databeers to start :) For those of you coming only to Databeers, please note that some people attending the BBVA conference will also be attending, so we have a somewhat restricted quorum. 150 tickets at most, so make sure you book your place and please please please cancel your ticket in case you can't attend so we can open up your place to other people.

We've managed to compile this line-up of speakers to share their thoughts and experience, we hope you enjoy them as much as we will!
  • Jonah Burlingame, @mind_arc, UX Strategist at Spring Studio, , "Oh Data the Places You’ll Go”
The first 4 talks will be in Spanish, with the last one being in English. We are sure you'll all understand perfectly (and a beer will help too!).

Be data, spread the word and invite your friends to become data-drunks because, as you know, the more the merrier!
