Guided Tour of the Alcazar and Jewish Quarter of Cordoba - English
Overview
Walk through the Jewish quarter and the old town, where you can see streets. See quaint places like the souk of the artisans, square of Cardenal Salazar or the statue of Maimonides.
Then head to the Alcázar where you will visit the gardens and admire the ponds, flowers, and plants, while you learn about their physiognomy and history. See places like the Walk of the Kings to take a photo of the most well-known monument.
After exploring the gardens enter* the mosaic room and admire the beauty of these original mosaics made in Roman times. Marvel at a Roman sarcophagus in a perfect state of conservation.
The meeting point from Tuesday to Saturday is on Avenida del Alcazar, opposite the Torre de la Paloma tower in the Alcazar. On Sundays, the meeting point is in Puerta Santa Catalina of Mosque-Cathedral. We recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start of the tour. Look for the green umbrella!
The tour will be conducted in ENGLISH
***IMPORTANT NOTE**: Due to the closure of the Alcázar for restoration works, the gardens and the Caliph Baths will be visited.
