• What’s the plan?

Malpais de Güimar Special Nature Reserve, located in the east of Tenerife, is a space of great geological and anthropological values. The perfect environment where you can have a unique vision of the volcanism and its relationship with human in the Canary Islands.

This hiking experience is the perfect way to explore this natural protected area across its trails, where petrified lava flows dominate the scenery. After the first kilometers, a sight that will make a lasting impression is the iconic figure of Montaña Grande, a volcanic mountain with a subdued reddish hue.

You will be surprised by the colors of the territory and its endemic vegetation related to this specific bioclimatic floor, passing through viewpoints that will allow you to enjoy wide panoramic views of the surroundings and the blue of Atlantic Ocean as background.

The activity will be carried out by official tourist guides from Feel Tenerife, a local adventure tourism company.

We will have the possibility of going by micro-bus from Santa Cruz (to be paid separately depending on how many we are).

A maximum of 15 people can sign up for this event. We will make sure we keep social distancing.
