About the Masterclass - Rise of the Robot:
"Rise of the Robots," traces robotics evolution from 1940s primitive "tortoises" and the pioneering AI robot Shakey to today's sophisticated systems integrated into daily life, from household cleaners to surgical robots and Boston Dynamics' acrobatic humanoids. Through an interdisciplinary lens combining engineering, AI, biology, and imagination, participants explore cutting-edge developments in autonomous vehicles and biotech integration while debating the ethical implications of robots that fundamentally transform what it means to be human.
