About the Master Class:
This master class examines the development of robotics, from the early days of simple machines to the advanced systems of today, such as the Boston Dynamics’ humanoids. We will explore innovations in autonomous vehicles and biotech integration, while addressing ethical questions about how robots are redefining humanity.

About the Professor:
Dr. Robert Polding is the Assistant Vice Dean of IE University and Deputy Area Head of Computing and Data Science. He holds a Ph.D. and MSc in Information Systems in the University of Sheffield, where his research spanned customer centricity and user-centered software design, natural language processing and language model research.
Dr. Polding has worked with organizations like British Telecom, Indra, Greenpeace, and the Spanish Army. Currently, he serves as an assistant vice dean and lecturer, teaching subjects such as software development and user centered design at the IE School of Science and Technology.
