Official Launch of the IE Master in Architecture (MArch)
Event Information
About this event
This is "the degree" that makes you an Architect in Spain and the European Union.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from Associate Dean and Director of the Master in Architecture, David Goodman, and Thesis Chair, Ben van Berkel about the program and how the students will benefit from the partnership with UN Studio.
This program is intended for students looking to complete their professional architectural licensure requirements in Spain and the European Union, and who want an international, innovative approach to the profession.
David Goodman will be presenting the program's contents, trips and structure accompanied by Ben van Berkel and Dana Behrman from UN Studio. Ben will be the Thesis Chair for this program and with Dana will be hosting the students at UN Studio for three weeks in Amsterdam.
Our 10 months Master in Architecture program completes your professional licensure requirements in Spain and the EU, empowering you to transform the built environment and to reimagine the profession itself.
Combining experimental design practice with a focus on sustainability, new fabrication technologies, and design management, this internationally-based program gives you the tools to lead. We believe that architects are key players in addressing the urgent challenges we face today as well as those that will emerge tomorrow. That’s why we’ve built an innovative, international Master of Architecture focused on preparing leaders to transform the built environment and the architectural profession. We combine this innovative approach with a focus on design management training, to help you translate your ideas into reality.
If you’re passionate about architecture, sustainability, and the city: this is the program for you.
WHO SHOULD JOIN THIS PROGRAM?
The Master of Architecture is open to all students who have graduated with the Spanish 5-year non-license-granting undergraduate architectural studies degree (“ fundamentos de arquitectura” or “estudios de arquitectura”), from any accredited Spanish university.
Students who have graduated with a comparable or longer degree from other countries and have demonstrated a record of academic excellence may be eligible for our intensive Bridge Access option, which can provide access to the MArch program for those who have not completed their undergraduate studies in Spain.
