Description
Opus Novum is a project showcasing new piano music by young Australian and international composers. This eclectic repertoire, yet to be discovered by many listeners, is a sample of the variety and creativity that is spread throughout the world. The project is founded and performed by Hugo Selles, an award-winning young pianist and composer from Cantabria (Spain). The concert is divided in two parts: the first part consists of new music by composers featured in Opus Novum, and the second part includes music by Schumann and music from the cross-genre project lead by Hugo Selles: Psychic Equalizer.
