About this event

Join us in an interview with Nina Wiesehomeier to discover her impressive research into the area of comparative politics.

We will discuss about political parties, political institutions, women representation, ideology and issues of political representation, political preferences, and political behavior, wiht a focus on Latin America's actual Populist phenomenon.

About the Speaker

Nina is Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics at the IE School of Global and Public Affairs in Madrid (Spain) and Associated Researcher at the Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal). Before joining IE University she held a Senior Lecturer position at Swansea University (UK) and lectured at Konstanz University (Germany) and at the University of Notre Dame (USA).

Nina has received her PhD in Political Sciences and is also part of Team Populism, a network studying the causes and consequences of populism.
