ABOUT the Series:

Welcome to Re_Solution, a thought-provoking series by the IE School of Architecture and Design exploring the multifaceted field of city-making. The series features recent mayors from cities that have faced unique crises, including Stockholm, Helsinki, Athens, Toronto, and Lisbon.

Each of these cities has overcome significant challenges by leveraging the power of public infrastructure and implementing transformative urban projects that significantly impact the environment and the citizens. Re_Solution aims to showcase how these challenges have been addressed through collaborative efforts among various stakeholders involved in city-making, including the academic world, members of public institutions, and private organizations. At IE School of Architecture and Design, we view cities holistically as transformation sites encompassing the built, natural, and digital environments. As an educational institution, we strive to generate knowledge and research that fosters discussions about creating sustainable cities for the future. Join us as we explore the fascinating and ever-changing world of city-making in the Re_Solution series
