About this event

Frederic Jung, Consul General of France in San Francisco, requests the pleasure of your company to attend a private reception in honor of the artist Jean-Michel Othoniel.

The event will take place at the Residence of France, 100 Edgewood Avenue in San Francisco, on Wednesday, September 14, at 5 pm.

Jean-Michel Othoniel lives and works in Paris, and has the distinction of being the first artist to have a permanent installation in the Park of Versailles in over 300 years.

He created a monumental work of art called La Rose des Vents, which has been placed in front of the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. The dedication ceremony for the sculpture will take place the day after the reception at the Residence of France.
