Event description

Description

Professor Lucia Egea will lead us in a discussion about the importance of cash flow for new ventures. Through a very practical workshop, she will elaborate on the Sandwich or Toast Theory and provide some clues to better understand the impact of cash flows when managing a company’s receivables, payables and inventories. Highlighting that despite the fact that cash flow statements provide key insights into what is really happening with startups, most entrepreneurs focus only on income statements. During this workshop Professor Egea will highlight several practical examples of the Sandwich or Toast theory which she has observed while helping early-stage entrepreneurs over the past five years.
