Somatic Flow - outdoor yoga & functional movement

Come join our somatic flow classes to be guided through a deeply grounding and functional sequence of poses and transitions. Each class integrates breath, flexibility, balance and strength, while focusing on mobility & body awareness.

• Tuesdays, 19:30 (evening)
• Thursdays, 7:30 (morning)

About the classes

🤸‍♀️ Somatic flow = an emerging approach that combines principles of somatic movement and awareness with yoga."Somatic" comes from the Greek word sōma for "body."

While the somatic approach puts embodied awareness over athleticism, I believe (and have personally experienced) that through embodied awareness, we can also achieve greater athleticism.

• A shift away from "performing" poses toward experiencing them from within (through felt sensation)

🌱 We move outside in nature, to feel grounded, connected, and recharged.

🤝 All levels welcome! Most poses and transitions of the classes are accessible for most people. There is always an option to modify poses or do a variation, so that everyone can meet their body where it’s at, get the most out of the practice, and enjoy the class to the fullest. And you'll see, you'll progress already after a few sessions.**

It is NOT about how it LOOKS - it is about how it FEELS.

About your instructor

Hi, I am Helen, a certified & experienced Yoga Teacher (Hatha & Vinyasa) and Functional Trainer (B License).

Since 2020, I have been teaching in 5 different countries. From beginners to advanced, private classes to groups of 20.

I have instructed a variety of different classes like vinyasa, spinal movement, yoga for beginners, yoga sculpt, yin based flow, & yoga Nidra. Currently, I love practicing and teaching mobility focused functional flow.
