Team Tossal -La Plana

👣 Welcome to Team Tossal!

Join us for another outing of our new hiking and discovery group — this time on the La Plana Route in Jávea. As always, Team Tossal walks are designed for the casual hiker: easy-paced, scenic, and with plenty of time to enjoy fresh air, history, and good conversation. And of course, we finish with a relaxed get-together at the end.

🌾 La Plana Route – This gentle circular trail takes us across the plateau of Montgó Natural Park, offering wide open views and a chance to enjoy its unique landscapes.

Highlights of the Route:

🌬️ Molins de la Plana – Step back in time at the famous 18th-century windmills, once used to grind wheat with the power of the coastal winds. Perched high above the bay, they also give us spectacular panoramas of Jávea and the Mediterranean below.

💡 Cap de Sant Antoni Lighthouse – At the far edge of the cliffs, we’ll visit this striking lighthouse that has watched over sailors since 1855. From here, the sea views stretch endlessly, and on clear days you can even glimpse Ibiza on the horizon.

🌿 Montgó Natural Park Scenery – Along the way, we’ll enjoy the beauty of Mediterranean pine, rosemary, and thyme, filling the air with the scents of the forest as we walk.

✨ A relaxed route, fascinating history, and sweeping views — the perfect mix for a Team Tossal outing.

• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing

• A camera or smartphone to capture the views

• The hike is expected to take approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes.
• Please arrive at the meeting point before 09:30 AM for a prompt start.
• In case of adverse weather conditions, participants will be notified of any changes.
