Team Tossal - Ruta de Olivera Millenaria

👣 Welcome to Team Tossal!

This is the very first outing of our new hiking of the season. Team Tossal is created for the casual hiker who enjoys being outdoors but isn’t looking for anything too strenuous. Our walks are easy and at a relaxed pace, combining fresh air, history, and nature with plenty of time to chat along the way. The social side is just as important — each outing finishes with coffee and cake together ☕🍰, the perfect way to relax, share stories, and enjoy good company.

Olivo Milenario 🌿

Join us for a gentle 7.65km hike exploring the ancient landscapes between Jesús Pobre and Xàbia. This relaxed route follows a mix of easy hiking paths and camí roads, with an optional final stretch on a mountain path.

Highlights of the Route:

🫒 Olivo Milenario – A true natural wonder! This majestic thousand-year-old olive tree has stood the test of time, its gnarled trunk and sprawling branches a testament to centuries of resilience. Planted during the Muslim occupation around 1023 AD, it's a living symbol of the region's rich agricultural heritage and still bears fruit today.

🚰 Llavador de la Rana – Step back in time at this beautifully preserved communal washhouse, once the heart of village life. Surrounded by rustic stonework and shaded by greenery, it offers a glimpse into the traditions and rhythms of rural life.

🌿 Camino de Santiago / Alba – We’ll also enjoy an easy scenic stretch of this historic pilgrimage route through beautiful countryside, linking us to centuries of travelers and seekers.

• Estimated Time: 3 hours (upto)

• Please arrive at the meeting point before 09:30 AM for a prompt start.
