Ignacio Escribano, expert in high performance nutrition (and sports nutritionist of the local ACB basketball team ‘Baskonia’) will give a masterclass focused on the best way to prepare for an Ironman the days before the race, and the best strategies to focus on nutrition during the race day.

It will be a free 45-minute talk in English with a 30-minute question and answer session. The event has limited capacity and will be open to race participants and triathlon enthusiasts in general. Booking is required via Eventbrite.

During the talk, the specialist will discuss general weekly nutrition strategies, as well as specific strategies for the day before the race and the day of the race.

He will also discuss the best nutritional technologies applied to Ironman and safe supplementation during the race to nourish each of the body's systems: from the small intestine, to muscles and joints.

The talk will take place in The Lounge at Kora Green City, the official Ironman accommodation.
