About this event

Business • Finance

Freelancing in Spain can be rewarding, but it also comes with unique financial pressures: irregular income, delayed payments, managing currencies, and the emotional ups and downs of feast-and-famine cycles. In this session, we’ll unpack those challenges and share practical ways to build clarity, confidence, and financial cushions that actually work in Spain.

Over a glass of wine (refreshments are included with your ticket), you’ll join a relaxed but insightful conversation covering:

  • Mindset shifts to reduce money stress and avoid feast-or-famine cycles.
  • How to budget and structure your bank accounts to keep things simple.
  • Smart tax and withholding strategies for autónomos and employees.
  • Setting realistic financial goals and building your personal finance framework.
  • Pensions and retirement planning in Spain: what’s worth considering.
  • Strategic tips for freelancers, including multi-currency management and insurance.

We’ll end with an open Q&A where you can bring your own questions.

, Barcelona’s leading financial technology community.

📘 All attendees will also receive a complimentary e-book guide on the topic as part of this event.
