Frontline Arts
Frontline Arts, previously known as the Printmaking Center of New Jersey (PCNJ), is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting communities through arts practices centered around papermaking and printmaking. Its mission is to create socially engaged spaces where individuals can build connections and empathy through art.
The organization's vision is an inclusive future where everyone can experience a brave space for commonality and understanding through the arts. Frontline Arts is committed to education at all levels, emphasizing that anyone can be an artist. It offers diverse programming both in-house, mobile, and virtual, fostering creativity and connections across different communities.
Frontline Arts upholds core values such as promoting access and participation for underrepresented groups, including BIPOC, Disabled, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. It prioritizes environmental sustainability through the use of non-toxic and recyclable materials and aims to honor the land’s original inhabitants. The organization is also dedicated to supporting veterans in the arts, continuing its legacy of providing artistic opportunities and support for those who have served.
