Echoes Charity
Echoes Charity is a registered Mental Health Charity providing free mental health and wellbeing workshops and groups via Zoom. We are led by you, and on our website you will find surveys asking what you, your family or your community need. We will then aim to provide workshops and groups to meet those needs, as they arise.
We are here to support people disadvantaged through circumstance, such as mental ill-health, the cost-of-living crisis, Covid-19 or disability for example. Using only qualified and registered counsellors and psychotherapists we will offer a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment, where people will not be judged and will have their voice and opinions valued and heard. We want to provide a service that is more interactive and allows those who may have felt previously isolated and unheard, to discuss their needs with others who are, or have been, on the same journey. As professional therapists, we will provide those strategies and skills that we found useful in individual and group therapy.
Our website has a Hub where there will be access to free mental health and disability information and resources (including helpful strategies and tools), direct links to other charities and services (local and national) so if you access our website you will find other services who may be able to support you. There is also a Creative Corner where you can build a caring community by sharing music/art/poetry/strategies that you have found poignant/useful.
