Legacy Consulting & Events, LLC
Kelli Edwards is the founder of Legacy Consulting and Events, L.L.C., where she helps individuals and families prepare for life’s transitions with clarity, calm, and confidence.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kelli has called the DMV home since graduating from Howard University, where she earned her degree in Physical Therapy. With more than three decades of professional healthcare experience — combined with 25 years as a dedicated home educator and 5 years as a caregiver — Kelli brings both clinical insight and lived wisdom to the work she does today.
Married to her husband, Brian, for 33 years and the proud mom of six adult children, Kelli understands firsthand how complex life can become — especially when important information isn’t organized or accessible.
She is widely known for her ability to bring order to chaos, simplify overwhelming tasks, and gently guide individuals and groups toward meaningful progress. This approach became the foundation of the A.P.T.™ Method — Anticipate • Prepare • Transition — a framework designed to help people take steady, realistic steps toward preparedness without pressure or overwhelm.
Through Sip & Prep events, The A.P.T. Essentials Guidebook, webinars, and consulting services, Kelli’s heart is simple: to help people feel more prepared, more supported, and more at peace — one clear step at a time.
