Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom

Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom (CMNEK) is a community-centered children’s museum in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, dedicated to joyful learning through play, creativity, and exploration.

We serve children and families of the Northeast Kingdom and beyond with hands-on exhibits, rotating programs, seasonal events, and inclusive access initiatives. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where curiosity is encouraged, imagination is celebrated, and all families—regardless of background or income—can learn and play together.

CMNEK is committed to accessibility, affordability, and community partnership, including access pricing for families using SNAP, WIC, or EBT benefits. We believe museums should feel warm, human, and fun—not intimidating—and we design everything with children and caregivers in mind.
