Artmantical @ Machine Studios
Angie Brewer is the artist and founder of Artmantical, a creative brand rooted in storytelling, heritage, and community. Born and raised on and off the Maple Plain Reservation (Cumberland, WI) and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Angie is a proud St. Croix Ojibwe and North Carolina Lumbee artist whose Indigenous roots shape her artistic vision. In 2023, she earned her B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics and a minor in Art History from Arcadia University.
Her work reflects both whimsy and tradition, blending playful ghosts, frogs, and witches with earthy, reflective pottery inspired by craftsmanship and fine art sensibilities. Her artwork embodies humor, imagination, and reflection, with each piece designed to carry warmth and character — whether it sparks joy, laughter, or contemplation!
Artmantical began in 2021 when Angie’s ceramics debuted at the Glenside Arts Festival and quickly gained enthusiastic support. Originally launched as a small Etsy shop, Artmantical has since grown into a recognizable creative brand and community presence. Angie currently creates her work and teaches pottery classes at her shared studio space at Machine Studios located in the basement of Hops/Scotch Bar.
