Mobile Music Box

Mobile Music Box, led by Aquil AQ Charlton, brings rhythm, play, sound, and instrument-making to neighborhoods across Chicago by bicycle cart. As part of the Mobilize Creative Collaborative with William Estrada, Marya Spont-Lemus, and Andres Lemus-Spont, they activate spaces in South and Southwest side community spaces with art, music, making, and more. Through partnerships with Chicago Park District, DCASE, Threewalls, and artists like Brother El and Binkey, Mobile Music Box seeks to cultivate more space for creativity, play, and rhythmic traditions.
