Off Off Broadway

Off Off Broadway is the only student-led musical theatre organization at the University of South Carolina, Columbia campus. Founded 18 years ago by non-theatre majors, we work hard to produce quality performances, provide free and accessible theatre, and foster community through a shared love of the arts.

We produce at least one full show per semester; these shows range from licensed musicals to student-written productions. Admission is free to the public, though donations are always appreciated. Our shows our funded solely through membership dues and donations.

OOB is built on the belief that even those not pursuing an acting career should be able to participate in theatre during their college experience. We offer opportunities on the stage, backstage, and tech work, as well as committee positions that help this organization run. Whether it be costumes, fundraising, or set building, members are sure to find a place within our growing community.

We live by the words, "Come for the theatre, stay for the family", and find that every member has a home here at Off Off Broadway.
