Our mission is to create an accessible, welcoming, and deeply spiritual environment for meditation and self-awareness practices in Alberta and across Canada.
Who we are:
Vipassana.ca organizes regular events in Edmonton and Calgary (Alberta), British Columbia, and continues to expand across Canada, offering both in-person and online formats, from 3-day silent meditation retreats to weekly hatha yoga classes and community gatherings. All sessions are guided by certified instructors.
What we offer:
- Silent Retreat (3 days) — meditation in silence at the scenic Gull Lake retreat center, with a structured daily schedule and nourishing food that supports clarity and balance.
- Hatha Yoga classes in Calgary and Edmonton — accessible to all levels, held on evenings and weekends.
- Free Yoga Days — community events designed to make yoga and meditation accessible to everyone, offering a chance to experience mindfulness in a friendly and supportive environment.
