Flamenco Guitar Workshop with Juan Miguel Castellano

During this workshop, flamenco guitarist and teacher Juan Miguel Castellano will explore some of the fundamental techniques and rhythmic concepts that define flamenco guitar.

The workshop will use Soleá as a musical framework, allowing participants to approach flamenco technique through practical exercises, rhythmic patterns and musical application.

Topics include:

• Basic flamenco right-hand techniques
• Rasgueado
• Picado
• Arpeggio
• Flamenco compás
• Rhythmic coordination
• Application of technique to musical phrases
• Introduction to the harmonic and rhythmic language of Soleá

The workshop is aimed at beginner and intermediate guitarists with an interest in flamenco guitar.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own guitar.
