Have you ever felt what it's like to draw with your eyes?

In this unique workshop, the international artist, Hannah Berestizhevsky, will introduce you to the captivating world of Blind drawing.

This workshop is an opportunity to practice a unique drawing exercise. Blind contour drawing is an artistic technique where you draw without looking at the paper. The technique improves drawing abilities because it requires the use of both senses of sight and touch. Blind contour drawing trains the eye and hand to work as a team which strengthens the control and consciousness of your body.

It’s a poetic, intimate path of a dot, that started traveling on the surface of space.

This workshop consists of 3 parts: theory | production | discussion.

After the theoretical introduction to the concept, the participants will practice this form of art, using mostly pencils and paper, as well as colors. The workshop's experience is constructed with three main activities: "Object tracking", "speed portraits", and "multilayered moments".

LOCATION: the upcoming workshop will take place at the top floor of Raima, which is a family-owned art store, specializing in paper and other unique art materials. It's a sociocultural space conceived as a meeting point for artists and creatives. It is a multipurpose room, open, with large windows, terrace, cute bar, and creative space for expression.

Profile:

The painter and performer, Hannah, is a professional award-winning emerging artist, a teacher, a mother, and a friend. With a Master of Arts (MFA) from the University of Barcelona, Spain. Her works were shown in group and individual exhibitions in Europe and Israel. Currently located in Barcelona, in 2016 opened her studio “MOFUTA studio gallery”.

¿Alguna vez has sentido lo que es dibujar con los ojos?

En este taller único, la artista internacional Hannah Berestizhevsky te introducirá en el cautivador mundo del dibujo a ciegas.

Este taller es una oportunidad para practicar un ejercicio de dibujo único. El dibujo de contorno a ciegas es una técnica artística en la que se dibuja sin mirar el papel. El método mejora las habilidades de dibujo porque requiere el uso de ambos sentidos de la vista y el tacto. El dibujo a ciegas entrenamos el ojo y la mano para trabajar en equipo, lo que fortalece el control y la conciencia del cuerpo.

Es un camino poético e íntimo de un punto, que comenzó a viajar por la superficie del espacio.

Este taller consta de 3 partes: teoría | producción | discusión.

Después de la introducción teórica al concepto, los participantes practicarán esta forma de arte, utilizando principalmente lápiz y papel, además de colores. La experiencia del taller se construye con tres actividades principales: "Seguimiento de objetos", "Retratos rápidos" y "Momentos multicapa".

Revisión del estudiante: "Dibujar a ciegas era algo completamente desconocido para mí, y sí, sin duda me hizo sentir incómodo al principio porque sentí la necesidad de mirar el papel, pero luego me relajé y me divertí mucho. Además me di cuenta de la cantidad de detalles había ignorado en mi propia cara o en la de la persona que tenia delante"

UBICACIÓN: el próximo taller se llevará a cabo en el último piso de Raima, que es una tienda de arte de propiedad familiar, especializada en papel y otros materiales artísticos únicos. Es un espacio sociocultural concebido como punto de encuentro de artistas y creativos. Es un salón de usos múltiples, abierto, con grandes ventanales, terraza, lindo bar y espacio creativo para la expresión.

Perfil:

La pintora Hannah, es una artista emergente galardonada profesionalmente, maestra, madre y amiga. Con un Master en Artes (MFA) de la Universidad de Barcelona. Sus obras se muestran en exposiciones colectivas e individuales en Europa e Israel. Actualmente se ubica en Barcelona dónde tiene su estudio MOFUTA studio gallery” desde 2016.
