(English)This year, 2020 we started a new decade for action towards the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. In the past 10 years, we have been able to think and ideate about how to contribute, but now it’s time to accelerate action towards reaching the 17 goals that lay out the global agenda for sustainable development until 2030.We are optimistic that in these complex moments we need to boost design as a driver for innovation that generates impact. This is a call to action and human-centered - we prefer to say society-centered - design is the main ingredient in it! Designers have the power to use their empathy and creativity to turn ideas into tangible products and services, and thus have a particular responsibility designing for a better world and in delivering the SDGs.At this summit, experts will share with you how to turn your ideas into action. You’ll learn from successful design cases that have proven to be advantageous and valuable for businesses to advance and make a positive impact on people, on the planet or on profit. All aimed at inspiring you and helping you find the tools to start acting as well.

(Català)Aquest any 2020 hem començat una nova dècada d’acció destinada a l’assoliment dels objectius de desenvolupament sostenible (ODS) establerts per les Nacions Unides a fi d’acabar amb la pobresa, protegir el planeta i garantir la prosperitat per a tothom. Durant els 10 darrers anys hem pogut reflexionar sobre com hi podem contribuir, i ara és l’hora d’agilitzar les accions per a assolir els 17 objectius inclosos a l’Agenda global 2030 per al desenvolupament sostenible.En aquests moments tan difícils, som optimistes i creiem que cal potenciar el disseny com a motor d’una innovació que generi impacte. És l’hora d’actuar i de situar el disseny centrat en les persones o, com ens agrada més dir centrat en la societat, al nucli de l’acció. Els dissenyadors tenen el poder d’utilitzar la seva empatia i creativitat per a convertir idees en productes i serveis tangibles, i això els confereix una responsabilitat particular a l’hora de dissenyar un món millor i contribuir als ODS.En aquest Summit, els experts parlaran de com pots convertir les teves idees en acció. Aprendràs de casos d’èxit relacionats amb el disseny que han demostrat ser avantatjosos i valuosos i han permès a les empreses avançar i tenir un impacte positiu en les persones i el planeta, a banda d’obtenir beneficis, tot amb l’objectiu d’inspirar-te i ajudar-te a trobar les eines perquè tu també comencis a actuar.

(Español)Este 2020 hemos empezado una nueva década de acción destinada a conseguir los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible (ODS) establecidos por las Naciones Unidas para conseguir acabar con la pobreza, proteger el planeta y garantizar la prosperidad para todos. Durante los 10 últimos años hemos podido reflexionar sobre cómo podíamos contribuir, y ahora es el momento de agilizar las acciones para alcanzar los 17 objetivos incluidos en la Agenda global 2030 para el desarrollo sostenible.En estos momentos tan difíciles, somos optimistas y creemos que hace falta potenciar el diseño como motor de una innovación que genere impacto. Es la hora de actuar y de situar el diseño centrado en las personas o, como nos gusta más decir, centrado en la sociedad— en el núcleo de la acción. Los diseñadores tienen el poder de utilizar su empatía y creatividad para convertir ideas en productos y servicios tangibles, y ello les  confiere una responsabilidad particular a la hora de diseñar un mundo mejor y contribuir a los ODS.En este Summit, los expertos hablarán de como puedes convertir tus ideas en acción. Aprenderás de casos de éxito relacionados con el diseño, que han demostrado ser ventajosos y valiosos, a la vez que han permitido a las empresas avanzar y tener un impacto positivo en las personas y el planeta aparte de obtener beneficios. El objetivo es inspirarte y ayudarte a encontrar las herramientas para que tú también empieces a actuar.
