Join LearnJam for this free online event on making learning experiences more inclusive through a better understanding of SEN.

Learners with special educational needs (SEN) often face difficulties, barriers and discrimination in their education, giving rise to many negative feelings and limiting beliefs. In many cases, schools and teachers don’t adequately understand neurodiversity and SEN and therefore find it hard to identify and support the range of needs that exist in classrooms. In this interactive, online session, we aim to raise awareness around how we can make learning experiences more inclusive through a better understanding of SEN and the importance of supporting SEN students. The session is aimed at teachers, learning designers and anyone interested in a more inclusive approach to education.We will draw on and share resources from an EU-funded project that LearnJam has been involved in over the last two years, working with partners around the EU to create a '<a href="https://sentoolkit.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SEN Toolkit</a>' of resources to help teachers better understand and support SEN students. LearnJam is running this session for free as part of our commitment to promoting a more inclusive approach to education, and to share resources that we hope will benefit teachers and learning designers.
