I﻿ am so excited to be sharing this beautiful, deep and expansive healing journey using the power of the breath in a new location of New Ross Co. Wexford at Number 6 The Wellness Studio.The power of the breath has been used for centuries in ancient cultures and the power innate within it has been forgotten by many of us along the way and even our very connection to the breath itself has been so overlooked and by myself included until I began this journey with breathwork. Using this breathwork technique we are guided back to our natural state of breathing and that is relaxed, rhythmic, open and flowing. As the session progresses we are opening up the flow within our bodies, our vibrational rate starts to increase and we start to open the door to an altered state of consciousness. In this space also known as theta we begin to heal on a physical, emotional and soul level and this is where the magic happens. Benefits of breathwork:Breathwork has many benefits and these are just a few: release stress hormones from the body, helps to alleviate pain, ignites your bodies own ability to heal itself, can help alleviate depression and anxiety, releases emotions and trauma stuck in the cells of your body, increased self awareness, calms the overthinking mind, helps you to be more present in the here and now, break habits and patterns that are having a negative impact on your life, better sleeping patterns, inner peace, bring awareness to and let go of limiting beliefs you have about yourself and life, positive outlook on life, connects you to your higher self, self discovery and many more. Please note before purchasing a ticket: During a breathwork session energy gets moved around in your body and can result in intense emotional and physical release so for that reason it is not recommended during pregnancy, for people with a history of aneurisms, cardiovascular problems including angina or prior heart attacks, uncontrolled high blood pressure, detached retina, osteoporosis, or any recent physical injuries or surgeries (injuries that are not fully healed). It is also not recommended for people who experience severe psychiatric symptoms such as bipolar, paranoia, schizophrenia or seizures, epilepsy, or terminal illness. People with asthma (bring inhaler).What to expect: We will start the workshop with me explaining what you may experience during the session and showing you the technique and then going into the breathwork session itself. Music will be played throughout to carry us on the journey with the breath.
