From 5 to 6 PM I'll be running an English and Spanish phonetics workshop at the same time, using a new learning system based on cooperation between participants whose native languages are English and Spanish/Catalan. All levels welcome! In this workshop we'll work on the sounds that cause the most trouble, explore the spelling behind each sound, and compare how they differ between the two languages. From 6 to 8 PM you're welcome to join the English-Spanish/Catalan language exchange. You choose how you want to improve your English or Spanish/Catalan: by joining the phonetics workshop, through informal conversations in a relaxed atmosphere, or both! 📍 INFO: We'll be in the room at the back of the venue, up a few steps. You'll recognize us by the big BCN Polyglots logo on one of the tables. ESPAÑOL¡Este martes te esperamos en el bar Sandwichez para participar en un taller de fonética y/o un intercambio de idiomas en horario de verano! De 17 a 18 h daré un taller de fonética inglesa y española al mismo tiempo, con un nuevo sistema de aprendizaje basado en la cooperación entre participantes cuyas lenguas maternas son el inglés y el español/catalán. ¡El nivel no importa, todos sois bienvenidos! En este taller trabajaremos los sonidos que más quebraderos de cabeza dan, exploraremos la ortografía que hay detrás de cada sonido y compararemos cómo suenan en las dos lenguas. De 18 a 20 h puedes unirte al intercambio de inglés-español/catalán. Tú eliges cómo quieres avanzar con tu inglés o español/catalán: asistiendo al taller de fonética, a través de conversaciones informales en un ambiente distendido, ¡o las dos cosas! 📍 INFO: Estaremos en la sala del fondo del local, subiendo unas pocas escaleras. Nos reconocerás porque en una de las mesas verás un logo bien grande de BCN Polyglots. CATALÀAquest dimarts t'esperem al bar Sandwichez per participar en un taller de fonètica i/o un intercanvi d'idiomes en horari d'estiu! De 17 a 18 h faré un taller de fonètica anglesa i espanyola alhora, amb un nou sistema d'aprenentatge basat en la cooperació entre participants les llengües maternes dels quals són l'anglès i l'espanyol/català. El nivell no importa, tothom hi és benvingut! En aquest taller treballarem els sons que més maldecaps donen, explorarem l'ortografia que hi ha darrere de cada so i compararem com sonen en les dues llengües. De 18 a 20 h pots unir-te a l'intercanvi d'anglès-espanyol/català. Tu tries com vols avançar amb el teu anglès o espanyol/català: assistint al taller de fonètica, a través de converses informals en un ambient distès, o les dues coses! 📍 INFO: Serem a la sala del fons del local, pujant unes poques escales. Ens reconeixeràs perquè a una de les taules veuràs un logo ben gran de BCN Polyglots.
