Do you dare?

Over on the far western side of Catalunya on the border with Aragon lies el Congost de Mont-Rebei; the magnificent Mont-Rebei gorge. The gorge separates Catalunya from Aragon and there is a foot bridge part way through the walk that allows you to travel from one region to the other. The Congost de Mont Rebei is one of the most spectacular gorges in Europe. It is truly an incredible sight!

Hiking in the Mont-Rebei Gorge offers a perfect combination of adventure and aerobic activity, all packed into a concise day trip.

QUICK DETAILS:

• Meeting Point: plaza España, Barcelona
• Departure & Return Time: 07:00-17:00h
• Price: 30 € pax (transportation included going and coming back in private bus with the driver and Eventbrite fees)
• Total Hike distance : 10 kms
• Elevation gain: 950m
• Difficulty level: middle

Take with you:

2L of water, food for picnic (sandwiches, fruits and others), hiking or appropriate shoes and wear multiple layers of lite clothes.

THE PLAN

• Meeting Point: Plaza España between two towers
• 07.00h– Departure of the bus! (please be on time)

• 11.00h – 16:00h - Hike time including lunch break and short stops to relax and take photos. You will be hiking up stairs, over bridges, under bridges, along asphalt, and over rocks in the form of a zigzag stairway that scales the sheer wall and connects with a suspension bridge over the river.

• 17:00h– End of activity. Departure to Barcelona

• 20:00h– Estimated arrival to Barcelona
