Adrian Katzew, founder and CEO, Zuma Energía.
Mr. Katzwe is a consolidated global leader in the renewable energy industry. He is a passionate entrepreneur, committed to opening new markets, setting up ambitious projects, and finding innovative ways to guarantee banking conditions for wind and solar projects around the world.
He began his career at Banco Santander in Spain, ultimately becoming the global leader of the Energy Project and Acquisitions Finance group at the bank. He later led reference energy projects at Vestas for Mexico, Central America and Caribbean, such as the first financing of a CSP plant in the US (Nevada Solar One), and the construction of the first wind farms in Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Mexico.
As founder and CEO of Zuma, Adrian transformed a startup company into the leading Mexican independent power producer of renewable energy. With the support of a highly-experienced team, he has taken 800 MW wind and solar portfolio from a development stage all the way to construction in only two years.
