Acerca de este evento
As part of the activities organised on the occasion of the participation of the Embassy of Spain in the Brussels Heritage Days 2021, the Embassy opens the exhibition "L'océan entier est affecté par un caillou", by Gonzalo Orquín.
The work tells anonymous stories about European immigration through his realistic paintings. The aim of the work is to reflect on what Europe is and on Europe's cultural identity and true fundamental values.
The selection of works, mostly oil on canvas or mixed techniques on paper, tell anonymous European stories. In the words of the author, "the sum of all these anonymous and heterogeneous identities, born in neighbouring countries, travellers, workers, students, makes us discover the sense and meaning of being European through the individual".
The opening will take place in the Embassy's LAB space in a face-to-face format, with limited seating capacity.
The event will also be streamed live at the following link: live.
