But having lived through the experience, the founders of allWomen and MakingJam want to share their stories of the ups and downs that eventually led them to success.

Join this virtual event for discussions on practicing patience, finding the right moments for vulnerability, discovering who you are when you start a new project, and the serendipity of entrepreneurship. This presentation of their unique experiences will help to tell the story of the life of a female founder.

As a meeting place for both the allWomen and MakingJam communities, this webinar will be an opportunity to join together to hear the stories of Laura Fernández, Founder of allWomen, and Mathilde Leo, Co-Founder of MakingJam, with moderation from Hazel Watts, allWomen Product Management Alumni, to energize future female founders and anyone else working towards success in their own career.

📌 Laura is the CEO and Co-Founder of AllWomen.tech, First Campus in Data Science, Product Management and UX/UI Design for women, by women. She is an expert in tech and innovative learning, as well as community building. Former COO of Makers of Barcelona. She dedicates time to mentor young entrepreneurs and enjoys curating tech content for brands. Laura holds a degree in Media Studies at Universitat Ramon Llull and a postgraduate in product marketing at UB.

📌 Mathilde is the co-founder and curator of JAM –– the event series for ambitious makers.

In 2015, Mathilde organised the first JAM conference while working as a full-time product manager in London. Not long after, she quit her full-time job and grew her side gig into a profitable remote business –– all while traveling the world and working from anywhere. Today, Mathilde focuses on curating 'no-bullshit' stories and helping speakers craft memorable talks for the ever-growing JAM community.

In her spare time, she loves eating cheese and practicing Muay Thai (rarely at the same time) from her new home based in Lisbon, Portugal. She also loves mentoring others on their path to a rewarding office-independent career.
