Welcome to the first talk in our XPLORE OPEN TALK series, hosted by XPLORE STUDIO BARCELONA.
Xplore Studio Barcelona is an open innovation space dedicated to co-creating the future of retail, from Barcelona to the world, through hands-on learning, collaborative action and uniting diverse perspectives.
Our first guest is Georgia Taglietti, who will share her thoughts on Cultural Translation: Building bridges between art, business and technology.
Since stepping away from the core of Sónar, Georgia has driven innovation networks (like ICNAC) to generate sustainable ecosystems that connect culture, emerging companies, and technology. She understands the startup environment not just as an economic model, but as a generational language, with all its codes of agility, scalability, and networking. Her role in this field is that of a “cultural translator”, a figure still largely missing in the bridges between art, business, and society.
In a sector historically dominated by men (such as electronic music and the cultural industry), Georgia has been one of the first voices to propose that women not only access visible roles but also hold real power. Through shesaid.so, she promotes mentoring, access to resources, and collaborative networks for creative women. Her work is not just symbolic activism: it's the creation of feminist infrastructure in culture.
