Learn more about the role of culture for Sustainable Development, with keynote speaker Jan Schultheiß, Urban Agenda for the EU

<p><a href="http://www.esach.org/events.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ESACH Talks</a> are an interactive, fast-paced event that provides a platform for sharing knowledge amongst students and young professionals working within cultural heritage studies. To make things more interesting, each presentation lasts five minutes, and must accompanied by a slide presentation. </p><p>Each Talk has a length of 45 minutes and includes presentations by ESACH students and young professionals, as well as some time for discussions and comments. This includes </p><ul><li>contribution of culture to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the New Urban Agenda and the <a href="http://ec.europa.eu/futurium/en/urban-agenda-eu/what-urban-agenda-eu" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Urban Agenda for the EU</a></li><li>sustainable cultural heritage and urban management strategies</li><li>sustainable urban practices, such as urban agriculture or the creative reuse of historic buildings</li><li>traditional and Indigenous knowledge and practices, and their role in achieving sustainable development</li><li>and much more!</li></ul><h3>Speakers</h3><ul><li>Keynote speaker: Jan Schultheiß, Urban Agenda for the EU</li><li>Ahmed Morsi: The Fallacy of Revitalization: Subversive Creativity, Consumption and the Contestation of Heritage Spaces</li><li>Elena Cautis: The Capital of Dacia - a living museum of European Cultural Heritage</li><li>Federico Varela: Development of a Smart City in a historical context</li><li>Qi Wang: Creative Reuse - The contribution of culture to the SDGs</li></ul><aside> <a href="http://www.freepik.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Image designed by pch.vector / Freepik</a></aside>
