Description

AM I GOOD AT GENERATING INNOVATIVE BUSINESS IDEAS? DO I KNOW HOW TO FIND INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE PEOPLE FOR MY ORGANIZATION? DO I KNOW HOW TO TRAIN PEOPLE TO BE MORE CREATIVE, INNOVATIVE AND TO THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX?

If you are a manager who is concerned with her/his company’s future, you probably found yourself debating these questions. But telling your employees “be creative” when they ask “how to think outside of the box” is a generic and unhelpful answer. In an era when companies struggle to be innovative and creative, compete on talent, and constantly look for the next big thing, it is time to think differently – about the way we do business, the people we hire, and how we train them.

In this talk, “A Renaissance of Renaissance Thinking – Why Business Needs The Arts,” (Executives version), Nir is challenging our way of thinking about the relations between art, entrepreneurship, science, and technology and about the relations between artists and innovation. He especially advocates the connection between artistic talent and business entrepreneurship, two areas that fuel each other and provide endless opportunities for mutual learning.

By revealing trends and upcoming changes in the world, he highlights the importance of being creative and adopting, what he calls, The Artistic Mindset. Using examples of leaders in the business world that have already capitalized on art and creativity, he raises questions that help to initiate a change in paradigm and break the ice between business professionals and the creative world.

A “mind-blowing journey to the importance of art in business”, “game changer session” and “unconventional and one of the most unique talks I have ever attended” to name a few of the comments from his listeners.
