Flamencodanza Show

FLAMENCODANZA, “Best show of dance and physical theatre” Hollywood fringe 2022 is a Flamenco dance and guitar show that has toured internationally at festivals in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the US since 2021. Different elements fuse together in a unique manner producing an award-winning show with energy and artistry. Energetic dance meets guitar with a richly layered score, drawing on flamenco, Brazilian music and jazz.

The show will feature an internationally acclaimed Flamenco guitarist as a guest artist.

Anthony Tran studied flamenco guitar all across Andalucía with various teachers in Granada, Jerez, Córdoba and more. For the past decade, he has managed Boston-based group Flamenco Boston and has worked with local dancers and and dance companies to bring the excitement of flamenco through performances and workshops all over New England, including the Isabella Stewart Gardner and the museum of Fine Arts and to universities including MIT, Harvard, Northeastern, where he composed music for and performed in their production of Federico García Lorca´s Yerma. He has performed and continues to perform regularly at venues in Boston and NYC.

Aylin Bayaz is a contemporary Flamenco dancer and choreographer, relocated to NYC in September 2024. She trained at the Amor de Dios studios in Madrid and the Institute of the Arts Barcelona (MA Dance 2018) among other academies. Her duo show “Flamencodanza”, winner of award “Best show of Dance and physical theatre” Hollywood Fringe 2022, has toured internationally since 2021 performing over 350 shows in Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the US.
